Frog Costume explore combining spoken word sections with dramatic and moving background music which come together to make a very unique EP. The tracks are mixed to blend into each other making you feel that you are listening to one big eight minute emotional outcry or confession when listened all the way through. They keep the odd sound from the bedroom recording in each of the tracks, making them feel very grounded in time. As well as this, the first two tracks of the three track EP have ambient street sounds beneath them; the first one being on a stormy day and the second being a busy city road. These background sounds are blended into each track, with big thunder crashes and speeding motorbikes making appearances adding to the sense that these songs are moments in time. The final track concludes as a final thought, which is exactly how it feels; a thought. Since it is bereft of ambient backing track it feels like it isn't grounded in time as much as the first two, it is instead a thought in a head happening at the moment that you are listening to it.
